Engineering 3D modeling and prototyping from 10 years old

Think it up, model it, print it, assemble it, take it home.

8 intensives in 2 academic years !

From Little Racer, through quadcopter and hovercraft to your design.

The idea behind the 3D engineering modeling and prototyping course is that the child has the opportunity to explore and go through all the stages of developing their own robot: Idea-Sketch-Drawing-Designing, modeling and creating mechanical components assembly-debugging-programming/piloting.

The first year, in order to get involved, the focus is on creating remotely controlled mechanisms. Racing cars, all-terrain vehicles, walking robots, manipulators.

3D modeling takes place in a simple, accessible, but, at the same time, with great possibilities program Tinkercad.

During modeling, children learn the basics of drawing, the simplest (age-appropriate) geometry, face the need to do calculations, solve equations, apply mathematical formulas, memorize formulas, make drawings.

All models are printed on a 3D printer. At the lessons with the help of hand tools such as screwdrivers, files, mini drill, screwdriver and soldering iron, etc., model assembly, fitting of parts, soldering of electric circuits, connection of motors, writing simple programs and debugging of mechanism work takes place.

Everything that the child assembles in the classroom stays with him at the end of the course.

During the first two years they acquire skills in 3D modeling and all related disciplines, enough to start a project on their own. The robot can be either programmable for further exploration of ARDUINO, Scratch or Python programming, or manned with the help of an onboard video camera and FPV goggles.

In case of switching interests, at each stage the student will be ready to move to the groups with the study of electronics and robot programming or to the robot piloting group.
