Mindstorms Robotics for children 8-15 years old in Arcadia

Most recently, when we talked about robots, everyone imagined some kind of science fiction film or a very distant future, but the technology began to develop so quickly that now it does not seem so fantastic. The approach to the technological process that surrounds us, which has changed radically in recent years, forces many parents to review their children's education. Parents began to pay attention to such additional classes in Arcadia as Robotics. After all, Robotics is one of the most promising areas.

Our Kids & Robots Robotics Club in Arcadia tries to keep up to date and introduces children to the science of the future from school. In the classroom, children learn many new and sometimes incredible technological processes, learn to design, construct and program robots.

What is Robotics?

Robotics - an applied science that studies the development of automated technical systems is the most important technical basis of any production. Robotics is closely related to the following disciplines: mechanics, computer science, electronics. This is another reason why many parents prefer the lessons of robotics in Arcadia.

EV3 Robotics is a lesson developed by the Kids&Robots Robotics Club Network. In the lessons, children learn to use a fairly powerful robotic platform. The platform allows them to learn how to model and program real robots.
In the lessons, the children will learn by the following set:
The set includes 3 servomotors, which in the future will become the muscles of our future robot, a large number of sensors, microcontrollers or, to put it simply, languages - BRAINS of the future mechanism. All the details of the kit allow us to create any mechanical unit and get an autonomous robot.

The Mindstorms robotics course in Arcadia does not have a clear template, unlike WEDO Robotics. Children have more time for technical creativity and self-assembly. No, of course, the lessons have certain topics that need to be taught in the classroom, but we remember that our students are still young and give them more freedom to solve mechanical problems and programming tasks. Children learn to program each robot independently, teachers are only assistants.

Training takes place in a special software environment.
Kids&Robots Robotics Club in Arcadia - we have only interesting activities for children.
